- From March
17 to 19 a Pastoral Conference of the Chicago and Detroit Diocese
was held. Details.
The Conference issued a separate Communique
and addressed a letter to the local representative of the
Serbian Church, Metropolitan Christofor regarding the events in

- In Montreal,
a Pastoral Conference of the Eastern part of the Canadian Diocese
was held on March 19 and 20. Communique.
- Communique
from the Regular Clergy Conference and Retreat of the Diocese
of Eastern America and New York of the ROCOR
- On March
12, clergy of the Church Abroad served a moleben (Service of Supplication)
before the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God at St. Nicholas Cathedral

- On Wednesday
March 10, His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus elevated Priest Theodore
Shevzov to the rank of protopriest, and Priest George Lardas was
awarded the gold pectoral cross.
- On The Sunday
of the Cross, Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America
elevated Priest Yaroslav Belikow, a clergyman of the Holy Virgin
Cathedral in San Francisco and the Assistant Headmaster of the
SS. Cyrill and Methodius Parochial School, to the rank of Protopriest.
- New developments
on The Serbian Monastery of Hilandar on Mt. Athos which suffered
a catastrophic fire:
-Serbian Crown HRH Prince Alexander II was among the first to
visit after the fire to give support to the monastery brotherhood.

to the British Throne HRH Prince Charles donated 650,000 Pounds
($1.2 million) for the reconstruction of the Chilendar monastery,
where he secludes himself twice a year for prayer
