NEW YORK: March 2, 2026
On the Triumph of Orthodoxy, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York presides over the Divine Liturgy and the Rite of Orthodoxy

On Sunday, March 1, 2026, the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, at the Synodal Cathedral of Our Lady "of the Sign" in New York, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated the Divine Liturgy according to the rite of St Basil the Great and a prayer service for the wayward, and on the eve — all-night vigil.

His Eminence was joined by Cathedral Dean Archpriest Andrei Sommer, the cathedral clergy, and the clergy of the parishes of Greater New York. The liturgical chants were performed by the Synodal Choir under the direction of Vadim Gan.

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia performed the Rite of the Triumph of Orthodoxy. Anathemas, Many Years, and "eternal memory' to the defenders of the Christian faith were proclaimed by Protodeacon Sergey Arlievsky.
