“And Peace On Earth" ‒ a Fundraiser Concert is scheduled at New York’s Synodal Cathedral Of The Sign
A special evening of sacred a cappella works spanning the Russian Orthodox tradition is planned, as the renowned Synod Cathedral Choir offers prayers for peace in a rare concert performance. This in-person event will be held at the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia located at the corner of Park Avenue and East 93rd Street, New York City. The audience will be immersed in the serene atmosphere of this ornate Orthodox temple set within a landmark Carnegie Hill mansion, and then meet the singers with their diverse backgrounds, from Ukraine and Russia as well as the US, at a reception in the banquet hall overlooking Park Avenue.
The event aims to lift up collective prayers for peace in the world. Proceeds will benefit missions in Ukraine and the Holy Land.
