The First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad receives a delegation of the Romanian Orthodox Church
On Monday, January 1, 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York received at his residence a pilgrimage delegation from St Demetrius Monastery of the Romanian Orthodox Church in New York. The head of the pilgrimage group, Protosinghel Jeremiah, was accompanied by members of the monastic brethren and pilgrims of the monastery.
After venerating the holy relics of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Sign, the pilgrims performed a moleben and akathist before the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign," received a blessing from His Eminence, and conversed with him.
