The First Hierarch makes an archpastoral visit to the Western European Diocese

On 22 November, 2023, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, arrived in Florence, Italy, for the annual clergy conference of the Western European Diocese.
Some 45 clergy are assembling for prayers, instruction, and spiritual nourishment.

After a welcome dinner that evening, the clergy began the next morning with Divine Liturgy in the Florence Church of the Nativity of Christ and St Nicholas, after which they commence their work, which continued through Saturday.
