The choir director of the Cathedral of the Mother of God “Joy or All Who Sorrow” supports Metropolitan Ionafan

Vladimir Krassovsky, long-time choir director of the Cathedral of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in San Francisco, CA, on behalf of his singers expressed support for His Eminence Metropolitan Ionafan of Tulchinsk and Bratslav of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, unlawfully persecuted for the faith of the canonical and oppressed Ukrainian Orthodox Church. “We always commemorate Your Eminence during divine services in the presence of the holy relics of St John of Shanghai and San Francisco.” Vladyka Ionafan in turn expressed his blessing to al the choir members, along with his heartfelt gratitude for their support.

Vladimir Krassovsky, born in 1950, has been the choir director of the cathedral for many years, and is also an iconographer. He is a member of the Liturgical Music Commission of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.
