An assembly of clergy, monastics and laity is held in the Western American Diocese

On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in San Francisco, CA, as well as a litany for the departed for all those who were martyred and murdered by the godless regime, and a moleben on the occasion of the Diocesan Assembly that opened that day.

The work of the Diocesan Assembly was presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America, with the participation of Bishop Theodosius of Seattle and Bishop James of Sonora, vicars of the diocese, and His Grace Nicholas (Soraic), who is in retirement within on the territory of the diocese. At the meeting, reports of the diocesan departments, as well as reports of the deans, were read, after which a discussion of the current affairs of the diocese took place. At the end of the Diocesan Assembly, a thanksgiving moleben was served.
