Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York performs all-night vigil with the Rite of the Elevation of the Cross (photo-report)

On Tuesday, 26 September, 2023, the eve of the feast day of the Exaltation of the Cross, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, performed all-night vigil at the Synodal Cathedral of Our Lady “of the Sign” in New York City. Near the end of the service, His Eminence performed the rite of the Elevation of the Cross. The following day, Metropolitan Nicholas celebrated Divine Liturgy at the cathedral.
