Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany heads the Rite of Holy Unction at the Munich Cathedral
On Wednesday, 12 April, 2023, the last Liturgies of the Pre-Sanctified Gifts were celebrated at the churches of the German Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. His Eminence Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany led divine services at the St Job of Pochaev Monastery in Munich.
On Wednesday evening, the Passion matins were performed at Munich’s Cathedral of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia, after which Metropolitan Mark headed the Rite of Holy Unction. Concelebrating with His Eminence were 18 priests and 3 deacons.
