The German Diocese holds a pastoral retreat

On October 2-4, 2022, Koln was the host city of a pastoral retread of the German Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. Almost all the priests of the diocese were in attendance, as well as priests who recently arrived from Ukraine and served in its parishes.

On Monday, 3 October, His Eminence Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany celebrated Divine Liturgy along with His Grace Bishop Job of Stuttgart, Vicar of the German Diocese, and the entire host of clergymen. After a trapeza luncheon, Vladyka Job spoke on the new means of pastoral communication, while Archpriest Ilya Limberger spoke on the problems of confessional practice,after which Priest Tomas Diуtz spoke on the development of sex education in schools.

Lively discussion followed every speech, along with the exchange of experiences and the deliberation of finding answers to new challenges.
