A documentary on Orthodox Bethany School is published on Lazarus Saturday

In continuation of a pre-Revolutionary tradition, the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia declares a plate collection in all its churches to support the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem after matins anointing and Liturgy on the feast of the Entrance of the Lord into Jerusalem. The Mission's clergy and monastics preserve and protect the holy sites on the Mt of Olives, Gethsemane, Bethany, Fara and other places, welcoming pilgrims from all over the world, representing the Russian Church Abroad before the Hierarchy of the Jerusalem Patriarchate, the "Mother of Churches," and the civil authorities.
