Photo-report on feast-day celebrations at St Nicholas Cave Chapel in Bethany

On Wednesday, December 18, 2018, the feast day of St Nicholas of Myra the Miracle-worker, Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), Chief of the Russian ecclesiastical mission in Jerusalem, headed Divine services at the Cave Church dedicated to the saint at Orthodox Bethany School outside of Jerusalem. Praying at the service was Albus Elizabeth (Smelic) of Russian Gethsemane Convent, along with the teachers and students of the school, pilgrims and local residents. After Divine Liturgy and a procession of the cross, a trapeza luncheon was offered at which the students gave performances.
