The historic Parish of Archangel Michael will consecrate the cornerstone of a new church
The Rector, parish council and sisterhood of Archangel Michael Church in Paterson/Wayne, NJ, are extending an open invitation to the consecration of the cornerstone of a new church in Wayne, NJ, on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 11 am. His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, and His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, and a host of clergymen of the Eastern American Diocese will participate.
The consecration of the cornerstone is a rare, important and memorable event in the life of the diocese and for the Russian diaspora in general.

After the consecration rite, the sisterhood will offer a luncheon at the neighboring Catholic church hall, and will be accompanied by musical performances, a benefit auction and lottery to support the new church construction.
