Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada visits Pokrovsky Convent in Moscow

On June 15, 2018, His Eminence Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia led a group of pilgrims from the USA, Canada and Australia to Pokrovsky Convent in Moscow, Russia. The delegation was greeted at the monastery gates by Abbess Feofaniya and staff members of the convent’s hostel.

The pilgrims then visited the Church of the Protection of the Most-Holy Mother of God, where they venerated the relics of St Matrona of Moscow. Mother Feofaniya then gave Archbishop Gabriel and the pilgrims a gift of a painted icon of St Matrona and other mementos of their visit.
