An “educational” Liturgy for children is celebrated in the chapel where St John (Maximovich) died

On Sunday, May 20, 2018, Divine Liturgy was performed at the chapel of St Nicholas Cathedral in Seattle, WA, where St John (Maximovich) of Shanghai and San Francisco died. During the service, children sang, read prayers, served as acolytes and received commemoration slips from the parishioners, and sold candles. The clergymen gave brief explanations of these Liturgical rites to the children. Heading the service was Protopriest Alexei Kotar.
