The First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad Sends His Representative to Archangel Michael Church in Cannes

On March 16, 2011, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, sent Protopriest Michael Boikov to Cannes, France, to serve at Archangel Michael Church as his personal representative. Fr Michael’s main responsibility will be to represent His Eminence in tending to the good order of the church, which is under the rectorship of the President of the Synod of Bishops. Fr Michael will follow the “Regulations for Deaneries and Deans” in his duties.  

Fr Michael will arrive in Cannes on the second Sunday of Great Lent, where, together with the Senior Priest of the church, Priest Maksim Massalitine, and its clergy will celebrate Divine Liturgy of St Basil the Great.
