On Sunday, July 4, 2010, His Eminence Archbishop Justinian of Naro-Fominsk officiated at Divine Liturgy at San Francisco’s St Nicholas Church, one of the Patriarchal Parishes of the USA. At the invitation of Vladyka Justinian, also serving were His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America and His Grace Bishop Theodosius of Seattle. Welcoming the bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia to the Representation Church of the Moscow Patriarchate on the West Coast, Vladyka Justinian gave Vladyka Kyrill an icon of three great saints and expressed his joy over the prayerful and brotherly communion that day, and the hope for further strengthening of their mutual relations. He then gave a panaghia set as a gift to Vladyka Theodosius. Clergymen of the local Patriarchal parishes took part in the Liturgy, along with Protodeacon Nicholas Triantafillidis, and subdeacons and altar boys from ROCOR’s Cathedral of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow.”
