St John’s Orthodox Academy to Hold its First Annual Gala Event

St John’s Orthodox Academy of San Francisco is announcing its first annual gala event, organized by its Board of Directors. The goal of the gala will be to acquaint Orthodox society in the San Francisco area with the best of Orthodox culture, and to participate in discussions to support this magnificent Orthodox educational institution.

Speaking at the event will be world famous Orthodox speaker, Fr Joseph Huneycutt, well known for his internet and radio broadcasts, books and the Orthodixie website. St John’s Men’s Chorale will also perform among other presentations, auctions and other evening entertainment.  

The event will take place on Sunday, November 21, 2010, at 5 pm, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 999 Brotherhood Way, San Francisco, CA. Matins will begin at 4 pm, followed by refreshments at 5 pm, dinner and entertainment at 6 pm.

Featuring: Catered dinner and bar, guest speaker, Men’s Chorale, auction, videos of school life and special guests.
