The Primate of the Russian Church Abroad Visits the Old Believer Community of Mikhailovskaya Sloboda and the Russian State Social University (Photo-report)

On September 18, 2009, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion and his fellow travelers visited the Mikhailovskaya Sloboda neighborhood of Moscow. Here the delegates of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia venerated the holy relics of the churches of the Holy Archangel Michael Old Believer Community headed by Hegumen Irinarkh, and prayed at matins. That evening, His Eminence and the other clergymen visited Russian State Social University, where they were warmly greeted by its dean, VI Zhukov, who hosted a dinner in their honor.
