Bishop Michael of Geneva and Western Europe Participates In the 40th Anniversary of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Switzerland

With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Pavle and at the invitation of His Grace Bishop Constantine of Western Europe (Serbian Orthodox Church), His Eminence Metropolitan Amphilohije visited Switzerland, where the 40th anniversary of Serbian Orthodoxy in that country was being celebrated. On May 31, 2009, His Grace Bishop Michael of Geneva and Western Europe concelebrated with His Eminence at Divine Liturgy at SS Cyril and Methodius Church in Bern. Also praying at the service were His Eminence Metropolitan Jeremiah; His Eminence Macarius (Constantinople Patriarchate); Serbian Ambassador to Switzerland, Mr Milan Protic and others. At the end of the service, Metropolitan Amphilohije expressed his profound gratitude to Bishop Michael and other guests and pilgrims who shared the joy of the Serbian Orthodox Christians that day.
