The President of the Synod of Bishops Makes an Archpastoral Visit To the Parishes of the Russian Church Abroad in Great Britain

His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion will make an archpastoral visit to the parishes of Great Britain from November 9-15, 2009. During his visit, in addition to the celebration of hierarchal divine services, visits to holy sites and meetings with the clergy and laity of the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, His Eminence will meet with His Eminence Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany, Administrator of the Parishes of Great Britain; His Grace Bishop Elisei of Sourozh; His Eminence Archbishop Anatoly of Kerchensk; Yuri Fedotov, Russian Ambassador to Great Britain, and others.

On Saturday, November 14, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia will celebrate Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God in London, where he will consecrate its new iconostasis.
