The Relics of St John of Shanghai and San Francisco Will Be Brought to China

Last week, Priest Alexei Duke, a clergyman of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia under the direct authority of its First Hierarch, received a portion of the relics of St John (Maximovich) of Shanghai and San Francisco from His Grace Bishop Theodosius of Seattle to bring to the Russian Orthodox parishioners of China. Fr Alexei serves at the Russian Orthodox Church of SS Peter and Paul in Hong Kong, where Protopriest Dionisy Pozdnyaev, a member of the Department of External Church Relations, is rector.
