Archbishop Hilarion, First Deputy of the President of the Synod of Bishops, Will Serve a Pannikhida for All Russian Emigres Deported From China in 1945
On Saturday, August 11, at 12 noon, His Eminence Archbishop Hilarion of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand, along with the clergymen of the Sydney Deanery, will perform a pannikhida (memorial service) at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral for all the Russian Orthodox emigres deported by the Red Army from Harbin and other Chinese cities who innocently suffered in the concentration camps of the Soviet Union. At the end of the pannikhida, the local Russian Club will host a memorial luncheon.
