Representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia to Visit Moscow
On January 29, 2007, an authorized delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, consisting of His Eminence Archbishop Hilarion of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand, Chief Deputy President of the Synod of Bishops and His Eminence Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany, President of the Commission on talks with the Moscow Patriarchate, will visit Moscow. During meetings with His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II and other members of the Moscow Patriarchate, discussions will include the upcoming reestablishment of communion between both parts of the Russian Orthodox Church.
At the same time, His Grace Bishop Michael of Geneva and Western Europe and Protopriest Andrei Sommer, Senior Priest of the Synodal Cathedral in New York, will participate in the annual Moscow event, "Nativity Readings."
