The Cathedral in San Francisco Marks its 75th Anniversary
The parish of the Most-Holy Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in San Francisco is feverishly preparing for the celebration of its 75th anniversary. Work is continuing on the restoration of the roof and cupolas of the Cathedral.

The schedule of services for the celebration has been released:
On Monday, 4 November, at 7 p.m., a pannikhida will be conducted on the memorable late archpastors, clergy, the tireless founders, helpers, donors, laborers and faithful parishioners of the Cathedral.
On Tuesday, 5 November at 6 p.m. is the greeting of the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus, followed by the all-night vigil.
On Wednesday, 6 November, on the day of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow," Divine liturgy begins at 9 a.m., after which there will be a procession of the Cross with prayers of supplication. His Emincence Archbishop Mark of Berling and Germany may attend, as well as Bishop Gabriel of Manhattan.
Visiting clergy is asked to bring their own vestments. The vestements will be white and gold.
After the services, at 2 p.m., a reception will be held at the Russian Center, followed by an official program. Tickets will be sold for the reception, and space is limited; attendees are urged to register in advance.
The parish of the Cathedral invites all of our Church's faithful to take part in the celebration of its 75th anniversary.
The Cathedral's clergy and parishioners will be grateful to all who share this prayerful feast.
