The Fundraising Arm of ROCOR Begins its Second Annual Fundraising Drive

FAROCOR, the Fundraising Arm of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, is beginning its second annual fundraising drive to help support the Church.

FAROCOR raises money for individual ROCOR parishes and other beneficiaries by obtaining pledges from donors. Pledges are monthly donations automatically withdrawn from checking or savings accounts, credit cards, and now PayPal accounts. The benefits of pledged donations include lower fees, time savings and more consistent and efficient donation collection.

FAROCOR beneficiaries include all ROCOR parishes in the United States and Canada, the Holy Land monasteries, Third-World Missions, Holy Trinity Seminary, Holy Protection Memorial Church in Ottawa (the only church in ROCOR built to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus), the reestablished Clergy Welfare Fund, St Nicholas Cathedral in Montreal, and the Synod of Bishops.

Donors may pledge any amount to any or all of these approved charities and specify the day and frequency of donations.
