The Pastoral Conference of the Diocese of Chicago and Detroit Begins

The first day of the fall pastoral conference began with a divine liturgy served by Hegumen Ioann, Priest John Sykaluk, Priest Victor Trotsky, and Deacon Julian Miloradovich. Following the divine liturgy and a light breakfast, the assembled clergy of the Diocese met with His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus, His Eminence Archbishop Alypy, and His Grace Bishop Peter. Metropolitan Laurus discussed his official trip to Russia in May of this year and answered several questions from the clergy. After several hours of discussion, Metropolitan Laurus departed for Jordanville. Afterwards the clergy discussed several important pastoral issues and a Diocesan Council meeting was held.
