The
40th Annual Russian Orthodox Youth Conference to be held in Canberra
As reported by Protodeacon Basil Yakimov, the 40th Annual Russian
Orthodox Youth Conference of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand
is scheduled to be held in Canberra from 19-25 December. The Conference
will be held under the sacred illumination of the Akhtyrka Icon
of the Mother of God, which is kept at the Stavropighial Church
of the Diocesan Administration. Besides divine services, choir rehearsals,
lectures and round tables on spiritual and moral and church historical
topics, a talent show, various recreational activities, sports and
other events will be offered, at which young people can become better
acquainted.
The deadline for registration is November 26.
