On Sunday, November 17, 2019, a regular meeting of the clergy and laity of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand concluded with the celebration of Divine Liturgy at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral in Sydney. Officiating was His Eminence Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada, who was born in Australia, joined by His Grace Bishop George of Canberra and the diocesan clergy; the choir sang under the direction of Andrei Laptev, while the diocesan male choir sang under the direction of Nektary Kotliaroff. A number of clergymen received awards during the minor entrance.
