Protopriest Pavel Tsvetkov is congratulated on his 70th birthday at Elevation of the Cross Cathedral in Geneva

On the 14th Sunday after Pentecost, September 2, 2018, Geneva’s Elevation of the Cross Cathedral drew a large gathering of parishioners and important guests to celebrate Divine Liturgy and congratulate its Senior Priest, Mitred Protopriest Pavel Tsvetkoff, on his 70th birthday. Protopriest Emilian Pocinoc read a congratulatory message from His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, and His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, Administrator of the Western European Diocese, wishing Fr Pavel many years of good health and beneficial service to the Mother Church at the holy altar.

Flowers were presented to Fr Pavel from the parish, and a set of new vestments. Hundreds of parishioners extended their congratulations personally to Fr Pavel after the service.
