On the feast day of the Royal Passion-bearers, St Seraphim of Sarov Church in Sea Cliff will hold a night-time service
On the night of Monday, July 16, to Tuesday, July 17, 2018, the 100th anniversary of the martyrdom of the Holy Royal Passion-bearers will be marked with divine services at St Seraphim Memorial Church to the Reestablishment of Unity Within the Russian Orthodox Church in Sea Cliff, NY. Because the day is during the work week, services will begin with matins with polyeleos, after which Divine Liturgy will begin. Icons found by the investigators of the murders Sokolov and Ignatiev will be placed in the center of the church along with parts of the holy relics of Alapaevsk: Grand Duchess Elizabetha and her aide Nun Barbara.
Services will begin at 10:30 pm.
