His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus Congratulates

Archdeacon Eugene Burbelo on His Namesday

On December 26, His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus prayed at Diving Liturgy, which was performed by Mitred Protopriest Vladimir Doroskiewicz at St Sergius Chapel at the Synodal Building. Also serving were Archdeacon Eugene Burbelo, who was celebrating his namesday, and Protodeacon Joseph Jarostchuk. At the end of service, His Eminence congratulated his archdeacon, wishing him good health and God's help in serving the Holy Church. During the trapeza that followed, Archdeacon Eugene was congratulated by Archimandrite George (Schaeffer), the Prior of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville; Protodeacon Andrei Sommer, the Senior Priest of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Sign; Priest Serafim Gan; Protodeacon Joseph, the Secretary of the St John of Kronstadt Fund, and Subdeacon Nicholas Olhovsky, the cell-attendant of the First Hierarch.
